We all want to live with a sense of calm, feeling centered and at ease. Yet sometimes, we forget that we don’t have alter all of the things in the world to bring that about. We forget that our focus and attention is the cause of how we experience life. .
Join us Sunday for the wonderful music of Harold Payne, a talk titled Who’s Driving this Vehicle Anyway? and some ideas about how practicing mindfulness enables us to re-center and de-stress and empowers us to choose what we experience. I look forward to sharing my Sunday with you and seeing you there.
Today I practice being mindful.
I bring my awareness to the present moment.
I notice what is around me, what I am focused on
and what I am feeling.
As the Chooser, I choose to focus on that which is empowering and expansive,
that which creates joy and gratitude.
And so it is.
